Label Specifications

Finishing

There are three basic ways labels can be finished: on rolls, singled into sheets, or fan- folded.

Rolls: Labels are finished onto rolls unless otherwise specified. Our standard roll will contain 500 or 1000 labels(depending on size of label) and will be on a 3” core. Other roll quantities and core sizes are available- please specify when ordering.

Singles: Singled labels are individually cut into sheets. The labels are then stacked and shrink wrapped or bulk packed. Singled labels can be supplied with a back score or face slit to help easily remove the label from the liner. Singled labels are also known and Crack and Peel labels.

Fan Folded: Fan Folded labels are perforated die cut labels folded to your specification. Fan folded labels are supplied in stacks.

Rewind Direction-How the Labels Come off the Roll

The rewind direction is very important if the labels are being machine applied or if they are being typed on or printed through a secondary printing process such as a thermal printer. If the labels are to be applied by hand, the rewind direction is not important.
